Founded in 1830, Dublin Zoo is one of the oldest Zoos in Europe. Stretching nearly 70 acres across the Phoenix Park, it is home to over 600 animals representing over 100 species.

Visitors can explore the new African Savanna, where giraffes, zebras, ostrich and oryx can be seen. Discover the World of Cats, World of Primates, Fringes of the Arctic and City Farm and the Kaziranga Forest Trail, where a breeding herd of Asian elephants live.

There are tigers, hippos, bats, flamingos, rare monkeys, gorillas, orangutans, chimpanzees and red pandas to name but a few of the amazing animals you'll find waiting around every corner.
